Retiring the CILogon OSG CA

posted May 3, 2018, 2:08 PM by Jim Basney   [ updated May 3, 2018, 2:08 PM ]
Since the CILogon OSG CA began operation in 2015, it has issued over 10,000 certificates for secure access to the Open Science Grid. Recently, OSG announced that the OSG CA will retire. The CILogon team is coordinating with OSG on an orderly shutdown of CA operations, including continued publication of certificate revocation lists (CRLs) until all issued certificates are no longer in active use.

Join the discussion of the OSG CA retirement plans at the May 10 TAGPMA Meeting during the Internet2 Global Summit. Consult the meeting announcement for details on remote participation.

Please note that only the OSG CA is retiring. Other CILogon CAs will continue to operate as normal.
